1. Characteristic:
White to light yellow aseptic freeze dried powder .
 
2. Indications Function:
Ceftiofur sodium/HCl is indicated for treatment of bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever, pneumonia)
associated with Pasturella hemolytica, Pasturella multocida and Haemophilus somnus in lactating or non-lactating
cattle and ceftiofur sodium  is indicated in horses for respiratory disease associated with Strep zooepidimicus:.
Ceftiofur HCl is also approved for foot rot in cattle.
Ceftiofur could potentially be of usefulness in small animal infections as well, but little published data is available to
recommend its use.
 
3. Usage and Dosage: 
1) A vial of this product (0.1g/vial) is diluted in 250ml of antibodies, when combined with the antibides from our company,
2) Neck back legs by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, 0.08-0.20mg/feather in a week for young birds, 1mg/kg for poultry, one dose each day, when conditions is severe, it should be used continuously for three times.
 
4. Precautions

1) When diluted by normal saline or water for injection, it can be stored in fridge of 2-8°C for 7 days, in room temperature of 15-30°C for 12 hours, by cryopreservation up to 8 weeks. It is repoted who is high-sensitive to penicillin or cephalosporin should avoid contact with the product,
2)It should be applied by the provisions of the dose, course of treatment, dosage means,and there is no withdrawal period before slaughter. Egg breeder can be safe for human consumption, and the egg production will not be affected,
3) There is synergistic effect when combined with aminoglycosides.
 
5. USAGE AND DOSE:
 Dissolve every bottle of this product in 10 ml special diluting agent.
1.cattle and horse:1.1-2.2mg for every 1Kg of cattle and horse,1 time a day,three days in succession.
2.swine and sheep: 3-5mg for every 1Kg of cattle and horse,1 time a day,three days in succession.
3.Chicken: By hypodermic injection at the neck with syringes with No. 26 needles or other proper auto injectors. 0.1-0.2mg for every One-day-old chicken,1mg for every 1Kg of other chicken, 1 time a day.
